Anna Dutton
Founder Director of BRoW4 CIC
I am so proud to be the Founder – Director of BRoW4 CIC from where it all started to where it is now. It’s hard to believe that it was an idea in 2015 when I was a volunteer of Magpas Air Ambulance and being asked, ‘how can we raise more money for Magpas?’ and I answered ‘why don’t we organise a Bike Run or Walk 4 Magpas’.
We have in the past, organised a community event at Sapley Playing Fields. This year we are supporting and organising Huntingdon’s first Armed Forces Day at Sapley Playing Fields.
My Father was in the Army, and my mother was WRAF both around the 1940’s era. My husband was in the Army and is now an army cadet instructor and my son is currently serving in the RAF.
With a loyal band of volunteers, we attend local events, to showcase what BRoW4 CIC is and what we aim to do for the community. We are very lucky to receive donations from our supporters so that we can sell them to make more money for BRoW4 CIC.
I enjoy travelling around England with my husband and my 3 girls Binie, my Labrador/Patterdale Terrier. Flick my Jack Russell/Chihuahua and Nancy Dutton standard Jack Rusell/Tibetan Terrier. We have been to Devon, Wales, Scotland and Yorkshire, and have been very fortunate to find some amazing accommodation for the three girls and me and my husband. We all love to walk either through the fields, up hills, or along the seafront. As long as it does not have lots of stones. The girls prefer sand to stones. There are so many more lovely places to see.
I am also the manager of Huntingdon Neurotherapy Centre. My husband who is a volunteer runs the café with another volunteer helping him. The centre also holds Bingo on the second and last Friday of every month that I help organise. The main feature at the centre is the Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Chamber.
