An amazing day was held by many. Rob Bradshaw was the host of the event. Encouraging all the guests to make each act feel welcome.
6 bands took place on stage and 2 arena acts. Generation Dance and The Corps of Drums.
The Corps of Drums are new cadets that have joined the Corps in the past 12 to 18 months. This was their first outdoor performance event.
Food and drink were bring consumed whilst the stalls and charity stalls were selling.
It was lovely to see the Army and Army Cadets, The Police and Police cadets plus HMP Whitmore and the Fire brigade attend this event.
A huge thank you to the USA Army from RAF Molesworth for supplying 6 volunteers who gladly took a Police and army cadets under their wings to show them how volunteering works.
Security was down to Adam Harding from Phoenix Events East Ltd. His group of four were led by Rob. Controlling the foot and car traffic went without and hiccups.
A huge thank you to our group of volunteers, the stage manager and the Sound and PA man Paul Ouzman. The bands would not have had anywhere to play had it not of been for the Young Technicians Academy based in Yaxley. They supplied, erected and dismantled the stage.
There are so many people we could thank, but thank you for the food, drink, and music. But most of all thank you for coming. See you all again August Bank Holiday Saturday 2024. Bring a mate and doubleĀ theĀ gate.
