BRoW4 Family Fun Day with Underwater Challenge, at Gildenburgh Water, Whittlesey, Saturday 28th September 2019
BRoW4 have organised a family fun day with underwater challenge for the past two years to raise awareness and money for the RNLI. We’re delighted to be doing this event again in 2019, at Gildenburgh Water, Whittlesey, Cambridgeshire.
As with all of our events, we have stalls to entertain the young and the old, and at this event we added something for scuba divers - an underwater challenge! If you've ever wanted to find out about learning to scuba dive, this is an excellent day to come along and get some information.

Thinking of taking part?
When we decided to hold an event to raise money and awareness for the RNLI, we felt we needed a water element to the day, and so we decided to give scuba divers an underwater challenge, as the RNLI is often called upon to help divers at sea. The challenge changes each year, but will always include a game of pool! There are prizes to be won, and every contestant will get a medal whether they are winners or not.
If you are able to swim in open water, but unable to scuba dive, you have the option of swimming around the lake and raising sponsorship money. If this is something you'd like to do, please contact us using the details below to get a sponsorship form.

Q. Do I need to be able to scuba dive?
Yes, you need to be a Qualified Open Water Junior or above
Q. Can I get a refund?
No, all registration fees are non-refundable.
Q. Is there parking available?
Yes, there is limited parking available for a small charge.
Q. Is there availability of a Buddy diver?
Yes. Just let us know in advance that you need one and one will be provided for you.
Q. Can I bring my family and friends to watch?
Yes, they are very welcome. They can also register on the day if they are a qualified Scuba Diver. There will be activities that will keep the young people entertained, and the older ones amused.
Q. Are there changing facilities?
Yes there are changing and shower facilities.
